I normally dont blog about CoffeeMate as this is family blog however they had a challenge for a fun activity since I can get it to post anywhere else or get the link here it is:)

Parts of our long move from Florida via Missouri to South Carolina. Long trip great memories however the program used didn't like me or my pictures much as I had issues with it. so here it is.

It is hard to believe that it is almost september already.   School is rolling right along fundraisers and pictures this week.   We took kiddo into the dr for school phyiscal and I just hope that she doens't have asthma like the dr mentioned but we will no know untill the xrays come back so a few day.   Althought now days it seems as if everyone has it when back when I was in school there were maybe a few that did.

We have a great neighbor that move in next door with a 4th grader and a 2 year old.  So after homework  if the mom's agree we have play dates. So it gets the kids away from the tv and outside.

Its hard to belive that my little girl will be 8. We found out daddy will be tdy so I will have to see what I can do to throw her a party or something speical.

The house (yes thats it name) is starting to feel like home since I now how   a tank up with fish though I have not had a friendly more then 3 fish tank that size in a long time so I will have to find some more fish for it as one group has died out already due to one meany in the bunch so 3 fish down but still looking for some more dwarf gourmis(? ) I have 2 blue one and I am wanting at least 8 more in other shades and colors.

I do say having hubby only 10 min drive away is sure nice. We now have a  semi set supper time   and we can do more family things. Instead of him leaving work on time and having a 45 min drive that turns longer due to rush hour. The simple things.

They have some awesome sunssets to bad trees and houses block our few and none of our upstairs windows face that way. We came home from the pta/pizza night and the sun was just going down and it looked like a bowl of fire  of course I left my cameras at home and tried to use hubbys phone but luck is never with me ont that so I will have to get my point and shoot back into my purse so I can be ready.

Well today we had a nice family day. Went and walked through the 2nd part of Swan Lake Iris Gardens. The first part was much nicer but   will have to check it out later as it say you have to vistit it a few time during different parts of the year.

Wednesday we hope our stuff will be here. Thank goodness   its hard living on what few things we packed with us but its been an adventure.

Okies here is how are trip went up here. For the most part it was good.   From Florida we went to Missouri . Saw a place where a tornado went through it was just   odd trees torn down and a house with a perfect lawn just 50 feet away from all the damage. Started out in south MO with Ron and Glenna and then we went to His moms house ( that will a trip we will not soon forget) Kiddo's cat pooped in the carrier and all over the other cat too and we have no clue how how we all made it with up chucking from the smell. Then after a few days there we headed up to Lisa and Dan's and saw Baylor. There was a colt there and we got to do some fishing heheh Brad got skunked LOL. Then like normal when we left it was storming and it followed us tell 5 o'clock when we saw that sun for the first time that day. We stayed that night in a nasty hotel I have never had a pet room smell so bad uggg, we got a free breakfast but it took 20 minutes for a waitress to notice us and take our order. After that we drove through the smoky mountians. was a nice drive cool to look out and see little patches of fog or low clouds in some of the valleys. We got to sumter nothing even close to what I expected. I thought my home town was odd however this town takes the cake on that one. the main street (Broad) has as many closed places as it does open. its hard to explain things are so mixed up. But I love the country feel   trees everywhere.   Tried a new steakhouse it was great except its one of the places that I have to wipe the table down, and make sure I order coffee for 2 reasons so I have a plate to put my silverware on and so that I can keep my airway open in case they have buckets of peanuts on the table and shell on the floor. But even if I get sick the steak is to die for (mmmmm) Well   that about all I know so far was hoping to get my pictures up with this one of our trip however the pictures are still downloading as I cant do anything on the net with hubby on wow as somehow my comp makes his laggy.... ( you dont want to know my thoughts on that)

Well I think I am off to bed I may sneak a peach before I go or I will not get any again. Thank goodness my hubby and kiddo love fruit!

Will try to get the pictures up tomorrow of if not they will be on my photobucket site and under Sumter in a file called   Trip to Sumter.

well we have made it half way on our trip to south carolina. the trip was great so far a few scratches from kiddo cat and mine seemed to be ok if she was out and able to walk and see thing she slept in my lap most of the time. We stayed one night in a hotel and are now at Brad's family in MO its nice an hot but we sure dont miss the Florida heat. Pictures will be posted later or check out my facebook page as there are a few pictures on there. We are really missing our friends! So all of you better keep in touch.

Well it has been busy here

My troop did goodies for the Ronald McDonald house and turned in pop tabs. It was great fun and My girls rock!!!

We seen a living statue, Kiddo judged acrobats on stage, saw jugglers, awesome dragon wine/glasses holder. Kiddo got to shoot a bow as well I think most of pictures are labled or if not you can tell what they are.

Well lets just say I cant wait till the end of march but yet I wish it had not even started yet.
GS Cookies are almost done just getting the last Cookie Booths out of the way and the mailing of cookies to relatives.   The 26th we are at encampment I cant wait to see how much fun my girls have!

However busy with girl scouts leaves me little time to clean and get ready for moving its very stressful when you know your moving in june but you just dont know where. Houseing markets suck! sad note there too which all determines what we are going to have to do when we move. Kiddo will sure have alot of penpals after this move.

A few things I will miss when leaving Florida, The great friends I have made from TKD, Other GS troops and the great friends I have made in GS,  a few of the parent in our GS troop now, The manatees, the strawberries fresh picked all year round, the ocean when we did get there, sea world (love those water critters) Kiddos awesome teachers that she had down here every one has just been spectacular and I could have not picked them any better. You know that a teacher has touched there life when that child cries over missing them during the summer and and that the teachers see you in a store and ask about the child.

Things I wont miss   The heat, people (1/2 the people are rude down here), Snakes, cockroachs and the darn tree and its acorns that it drops half the year in our yard and palm trees.

That about all I can think of  going to wind down play some WOW and maybe get some sleep.

This week has been busy first kiddo has half day and a day of no school ... so my free time went out the window. Kiddo writing on the wall with marker getting into things that she knew better such as a whole roll of glue dots that I got for the Thinking day board along with some of my other stuff. So she got grounded. 1 week no tv but at least she is being good about it. lets just say I love it (not) when people who dont have kids tell me kids will be kids and its not that big of deal and some day you will laugh at it. Yeah but for this mom its not anytime soon! I hex you all to have rotten kids so I can say the same to you :) gee I feel better now :)

Thinking day work had to be ready by the 12th. Done thank goodness. Lets see Monday of this week my beloved coffee pot broke... sad sad sad day Hubby surpised me with a plate of chocolate cover strawberries. Nice thought love him for it but how was he to know out of the 12 there were only 5 I could eat as the rest rest had nuts on. Still #1 in my books and will be for a while. Kiddo got me a new coffee cup too.

Well where to start... I will start where I stopped blogging ( I think)

First My sister had surgery and she doing good now. Though I wish I would have been there for her. Lucky mom was there and was able to help her.
I got my christmas present early from my hubby.
He flew my parents down here for Christmas. I was so excited to have them spend christmas with us. Lets just say I seen more of florida in 2 weeks then I have living here for 3 years. We were all over the place. What I like you know how parents witness a child's first time of things well I got to witness my dad's first time to the ocean and got him to go fishing in the ocean! Some if not all of the places we went :
SeaWorld, Myakka, Lowery park Zoo, Sarasota Jungle Gardens, Mote Aquarium, Florida Aquarium, MacDill AFB, Anna Maria beach, St Pete beach

We had a great time and hated to see them go home.   Maybe they can come again after we move!

I have been busy with Girl Scouts Thinking Day is this weekend and I have alot of work to do to get the display done.   And I will post some pictures after this weekend.

Kiddo is doing good in school, loves girl scouts and taekwondo ( she is now a green belt and can spar!!)

Hubby is still working and doing what he does... ( its classified) LOL

Lets see other then that not sure if I have mentioned the kittys but they are better now and odd, strange but a joy to have around. Rosie the beagle is doing great too if kiddo would stop feeding her treats.
Still have fish too on top of all of that.

Still waiting to hear when and where we are off to next... I hate this as we dont have any time to get things done and rolling before we have to move.

Superbowl-- The only thing that saved it was the actual game.  Was not impressed with the halftime show   it sucked but not as bad as CA messing up the Star Spangled Banner. This was not her first time either. I would have rather listen to a bunch of kids out there singing it.   alright its 3 am now and maybe I can get some sleep.

Here is a few thing the last 2 weeks enjoy oh and our 2 visitors

this large thing was bigger the a basketball and scared me half to death as I was trying to get to the bus stop due to early out. I came around the corner and at a very quick glance I thought it was a snake sunning its creepy self but the when I looked again I saw it was not and ran to get the camera boy he moves fast let me tell you in 5 mins he was gone nowhere to be seen.

This guy way on our door step at 7 am as we were heading to the bus stop all I got was " mom dont touch it its got bumps and bumps are poison dont you know anything" lol lucky my bright flash scared it way.... what will I find tomorrow praying no snakes!!!!!!!

Girl Scouts is going good we been busy doing this and and that and this.

Seems like all the fundraisers down here hit at once (bs popcorn schools cookie dough and gs fall mag and nut and candy sales)

This is what been keeping me busy as I have a ton of things to enter into the computer and wish there was a few more of me that would clean, cook, and such so I could spend time with the family more.

Well sorry its been a while again... I tend to get to busy to keep up. Lets see what have we done.

Kiddo is now an orange belt in TKD, she got terrific kid at school ( its one child picked from each class)
We celebrated birthdays. Went with friends to the zoo and had a blast! Girl Scouts is in full swing and I get to watch a cute little Baby :) oh how I want another one. I sure miss those days. Other then that its taking kiddo or the cats to the drs/vets. The kittens we got for Kiddos birthday ended up having scabies... so we are treating them. Kiddo has depending on which dr but I will go with the urgent care one ezema or how ever it spelled. Lets just say I am so blessed to have the most (no words can describe) wonderful hubby. We took Kiddo in to the clinic do to getting a call from school saying she was ichy. Sad thing was the dr there if we were lucky looked at kiddos rash for all of 15 seconds and told us that she had scabies and issued meds for her after belittling us in front of her cause lets just say I could have walked in and did what he did. After waiting for over 2 hrs to see the dr and then another 1 for the Pharmacy we were ready to head home. As we had a girl scout meeting that night. So on the way home I look at the med and thought it was odd that they had a head lice kit in the bag, after mentioning it to hubby he said well the dr would not have prescribed it if she didn't need it. Hubby thought she would be better off staying home just incase it was scabies. How ever she had been going to school all week. So I head off to girl scouts were I get a call from hubby saying they are at the urgent care and he would call when he knew more. Know my mind is wondering what happened did she have reaction to the med he prescribed did she fall and hurt herself? with all of this and trying to keep 10 little daisies 11 if you count the 1 tagalong, on track. so I get home after swinging by the pharmacy to get the new meds. So here is what happened... Hubby had googled (love google) the dcc and found out that scabies is not cured by headlice treatment and by looking closer she didn't have scabies other then the rash. But he took her to urgent care to get the right meds. And the dr who seen her there said it was not scabies but ezema or however you spell it. and said if we would have used the lice treatment, it would have burned kiddo and there would have been no way for them to ease the burning so she told hubby that he did the right thing and this lady also gave kiddo singular which is for allergies as she during this time of year (like her mom Goodness help her) has a stuffy nose and a cough from hell. So with the new meds her arms are almost cleared up and her legs would be better if she didn't pants that sit right below the knee. LOL should have heard me on the phone with the insurance company that was joke

Well that all I know except you are more then likly wondering about my title. Well It is a shamefull day when you try to do something good and you get hoodwinked. Kiddo was upset cause she wanted to read this book but she told me it was too hard for her to read. So being a nice mommy I tell her that I will get her a toy if she can read it by friday. Well so hubby comes home and she tells him what I told her and then the little turd goes and gets the book that she had been stumbling on for me and reads it like you would tell someone your address. Grrrr the monkey I cant even spell things to my hubby as she figures them our forwards, and backwards. What is this mom to do other then grab a cup of coffee and head for bed.

Birthday Surprise for Kiddo

Today we surprised kiddo with a kitten for her birthday. It was so funny because we had been planning to get one from her TKD teacher and I thought that kiddo might have figured it out from chatting here and there and having to pick up kitty things with her there. So to make a long story short.... We got in the car and she asked where we were going and hubby and I would not tell her. We pull up at Ms Osak's House and get out. Kiddo asks why we were there. So I had Ms Osak tell her. When the kitty was pointed out to her she froze for a few then when over to it. She was so surprised!! Mommy loved every minute of it.

So while we were there I fell in love with one too and my darling hubby let me get it :) lol he could have talked me out of it. So we have 2 kittys one is named (for how long I have no clue) Scotchtape because it likes to hold on tight when kiddo is holding it. Hers is special cause it has more toes on both the front and hindend then normal kittys. As for mine I have no clue what to name it it a little shy yet and kiddo thinks that it should have a coffee name but nothing pops out yet. So here are the cute little babies:

Oh what a fun trip even though... I forgot to pack the camp stove, there was no cover for the air matress so hubby and I had to sleep on the hard ground. Other then that it was great
Here are a few pictures some I didn't take but wanted to show you how blue the water is and at night they have lights shining on the water and its just so ...(WOW) for lack of other words. They have a few parts to this but Ginnie Springs in an unground connecting cave thing. They have the springs, devils Eyes, and Little devils eye ( I think) soo here it is and I will try to lable the picture too. Well boy time is slipping away. I think that we have been on the go more the we are at home.
Lets see we finish out Girl Scouts for this year, by the bridging and going to Great Explorations ( I didn't attend that event but the girls had fun and got to go play at park that had water things) School got out on the 10th of June and we attended the awards thing and kiddo did great she got... Panther Pride (give by the PTA), Citizenship for the month of June, Terrific Kid given by the Kiwanis club, and she also got Citizenship for the whole school year (was given out to 2 kids in each class...not bad for having 16 kids)

Have been celebrating a bunch of birthdays this month.
We still do Gymnastics and TKD.

Well I better get to bed we have gymnastics in the Morning and then heading to the zoo with some friends after we have lunch at McDonalds!!

Okies I think that I am caught up for last month now to get a fresh start on this month and try to keep up.

We have had the ducks back in our yard for a few times a week its nice to see them out there siting in the shade. Not much new on my end other then hubby is tdy for a couple days. I really need to clean, do housework, and get outside and start cleaning the yard up and get hubby to mow uggg.. So enjoy the pictures and I will go get busy before I have to go get kiddo from the bus to start the Monday afternoon get the homework done as monday is the only night other then wed when things are not going on except girl scouts but that is after supper so.

Yellow daylilly is my Mother's day gift from last year how cool for it to be blooming for this year! Kiddo was so excited. Yellow rose things is from my Rose trees that I just got and the roses started out all yellow and now they are red/orange edged. Pink is the wild as I call rose bush that is right right by the walk way to the house grow very strange like.
Kiddos first strawberries that she get to eat today after school. ( she had to show Grandpa that she can grow them too and he needs to come pick them!) plant/tree with the yellow flowers is my rose tree as mentioned above the pictures just didn't line up right.

Oh where has April gone? We have been so busy from Girl Scouts, School, TKD and Hubbys work. Well today Kiddo breaks for Charity to the Red Cross, cant wait to see this it is so fun to see the happy dance (what I call it) when the board breaks on the first time. She sure has a mean kick let me tell ya. She will be testing the 2nd week of May for her first solid yellow belt at junior rank. Now with Girl Scouts she just got back last week from her first overnight camping trip. She had a blast (thanks in part to a wonderful co leader :)) that was the first time she has ever been away with out us.

Other news.... We had visitors the other day 3 of them on our front lawn it was nice to see them enjoying the shade. (see picture below)

My rose trees are blooming!!!! I just need to find out if they can live in MO. They are so pretty.

Other then that will post breaking board pictures/video later on I hope since Kiddo has friday off and we are headed to the zoo (wish us luck) Then have to come home and try to get our teachers apperication things done. Need to come up with little thank you sayings for the little things she will get each day of the week.

Oh what a great getaway. Didn't care for all the people who were there but I could not control that. We did have fun swimming, diving, and snorkling there. Met some really great people and had a blast. SO now my hubby is offically an open water diver!!!! So proud of him!! cant you tell if not you can by the photos

Boy how time flies! I was going to try and stay caught up but to much going on and to little time. This week is spring break down here and we have it packed to the gills from tkd, girl scouts, sea world, to camping so hubby can get his diving certification done.

I am still trying to recover from my ear/sinus infection and may have to go back to the dr and get it check again as its not playing nice

Well lets just say I cant wait to be done with cookies and have that stress relieved as its a pain when the Leader of the troop wanted nothing to do with it but yet is dipping her hand and stuff in and is getting very annoying. All in all its been ok though.

This place was nothing like I thought it would be I was very disappointed. First off we had 2 free tickets from a Girl scout event that Kiddo and I attended that the host MOSI never showed up and gave us tickets. When we got there we got our tickets and asked if the Davinci thing was on there as well and the guy said yes well it wasn't and that started the day off bad. The had fun things on one lvl like building up blocks and blowing them down, wind tunnel and such and then the next floor was very much geared to older Kids as it showed birthing and such with graphic pictures and then when to how kids mature. The had a hearing thing and a few other but the best fun was the Imax movie under the sea (except the sea snakes) but it was cool cause it was in a dome room and you could alraound you and it felt as if you were in a bubble under the ocean. Then we did the star viewing thing and that was cool too.

Strawberry Fest
it was a hot day. again not what I thought but turned out ok it was just a fair that was centered around stawberrries. We seen a lady acrobat, puppet show some old cars and kiddo and hubby rode some rides. We got a flat of strawberried as well and it took us forever to get home due to traffic

Girl Scouts had a dessert baking thing at the Ronald Macdonald house and the girls seemed to have a good time, now we have a mock baby shower set up to donate clothes/items to a church group. Also there are a few other things like professional day, little chefs academy, and Great Exploration comeing up. the last to are what the girls decided to do with the cookie money. Profession day will be fun as Kiddos tkd instructor was invite to show the girls some stuff.

okies Kiddo got her second strip on her belt she is tickled pink. She trying so hard with it.

Hubby has been gone alot to DC and Hawii and he is heading to Las Vegas soon for the Shreiver Games so he might get to see some old friends.

Well if its not one thing its another :)(

I have to many things going to keep up this blog but I am trying.   Things have changed around so now I am trying to back in the swing of things. Kiddo moved up to juniors in TKD and loving it   She tested in little dragons and go her yellow belt. I have ordered a bag for her new pink sparring gear from Stitcheroos (she does wonderful work and is fast too see her blog click link on right side of my page or above) So when all that arrives I will get pictures posted.

The house is another matter it has a smell and I cant tell if its the house or the fishtank or something else no matter what I do it still has a odd smell guess I will have to empty the tank and fill it back up and see if that helps. The disposal started leaking and we finally got it hooked up and no leaks or issues yet for that. Then today   after having a headache from the noise of our dryer running last night and today I fixed it after reading a few tips on the net on what it might be. A fast fix for a dryer that is rattling.. take a puddy knife or screwdriver and pry off the lower cover to the dryer. Ours had 2 clips that you had to pry loose but when you open it up you will be shocked... we had about a soft ball size section of lint and about 3 dollars of coins.   Well the coins is what was making the nosie. I picked the coins out and then vaccumed the rest of the lint out. and put it back together and there is no rattle what so ever. Saved having someone come out and charge me and made 3 bucks:)

Well now I better get to cleaning the rest of my house and figure out supper tonight.

Well I will try to write another post after the Girl Scout Father/Daughter Ball and post picture if I get some back in time since Mommies are not allowed unless they want to work. So lets see if I can get all caught up.

Kiddo and I are selling girl scout cookies and so far she is doing get to reach her goal of 250 boxes. Thinking day for GS is coming up and the troop got India and we have our paper done for that. Now we just have to get a poster done before the next service meeting for the gs is turning 98 this year.

TKD is going good she will test for her yellow belt the 22nd of Jan and then we are going to see if she would like to move up to a junior class.

Yesterday I got to go to the Lipizzaner Stallion show and it was out of this world.

Kiddo has made apple Kiwi apple sauce recipe is put 2 peeled kiwis in with one cored apple in the blender and mix it like you would salsa.

only other thing new is that hubby hurt himself playing soccer at manditory fun. He did a slide tackle twice on the same leg.

well This was a fun learning process tonight. Kiddo and I decided to make a graham cracker house for christmas. Well lets say that pictures are worth a 1000 words.

So Kiddo is excited about the house and we start with the sides and let it dry and then move on th the roof and such. She had to add a place for santa to to fish too. all looked well as she started to decorate the house. I dont know if it was the weight of the candies or her pushing on them but we had an a Hurricane on on snow she called it. Ever so slowly it started to fall and fall and fall..... when it was all said and done the fish had lived :) And the best part there was no tears or such as we were laughing in spite of ourselfs.

Well no sure if this will be the last post till the new year or not so.....

Merry CHRISTMAS from our family to yours... ( cards maybe late as I am having fun with my kiddo while things are still magical to her :) We just love our reading Christmas storys by the tree.

I am off tomorrow to a Veteran's day parade that kiddo is walking in for the Girl Scouts then we may go catch a hockey game. Then we have one week to get ready to have a break for for a week I cant wait but it will be long and such.

Update on me... Well like last year another lung infection, more pills to take. lol hubby takes me to a cold area where I will cough like crazy.. and its to MO again and I had this at about the same time or christmas who knows. Teeth are slowly getting done.

I really hate it when things are planned and then they dont follow through. MOSI a museum of Science down here was to have the girl scouts go snorkling and learn about manatees and such. Well to make a long story short no one from mosi showed up and the people at fort De Soto had no clue what was going on. So we got to spend part of the day at the beach it was fun but I really wish we could have done the Trekkers thing cause it sound so fun! But here are some pictures and the awesome bridge that we had to cross over to get to the place. some bridge pictures were not taken by me. The pink shirts are what my friend and I made for the troop so we would not lose anyone.

Well for all of you who have not seen me or heard from me its cause I have had a busy month so far. Lets just say I am starting to get my teeth fixed that I should have had done when my daughter born. so over a 3 day spand I have 7 root canels and 12 teeth removed by surgery so I am recouping from that and now I still have to get crowns and all that done yet so it will until next year when I think we will get them all done. So thats whats going on here.

This is my new 60 Gallon tank I got it as a kit so it came with the stand and all the goodies that go with it. its the new home to, 2 oscars (the boys 2), a pleco (tiny lol though he has way outgrown his name) and 1 catfish named Shiney,(that was kiddos and chased her fish so I tossed it in with the big boys and it loves it.

Well so much for trying to say on top of things. Life this month is crazy. Just wenn I think everything is under control another thing pops up. So to recap this month... Thank goodness its almost over! Had school shopping to do, got a new fishtank!(will post pictures later on) had a quick sad trip to MO Brad's uncle passed away. Sad day for all around it hit kiddo hard she says she had a special bond with him and I beleive it. Before I start crying again. EJ was a wonderful guy who will be missed greatly..... okies I back now had to dry my eyes lets see then when we got back school started, hubby has things going on at work, and such. Just to let you all know kiddo will be joining girl scouts this year she will be a daisy will know more in sept. She is still doing gymnastics and we are thinking of putting her into a karate class but still not sure have to check it out and see if its taught ok and if she really wants to do it. Here are the pictures I promised all of ya Buc's night, the hike, and tea party.

The night at tampa was fun. hot but otherwise fun.

Our day at Myakka River State Park
was fun as well did the canopy walk, seen where wild pigs were tearing up the ground. Very different then Montana, Colorado and Missouri. Seen lots of birds. next time I hope to try the airboat tour and hike a few other trails as kiddo was tired and we did one trail and drove to see the sites. Click here for more info on the park and the canopy walk so you know how high up we were. now here is some of the pictures we were going to have Jane tell the story but she fell asleep and was snoring so loud on the way home we could not think straight.

The Tea Party~~~~

This was just a last minute thing we did. My friend's girl is the same age as kiddo and they went to Pre K and became friends even though they were not in the same class. They wore dresses and beads and talked like royalty. We had invitations,cookies they baked, finger sandwiches that they could make and of course now party would be complete with out apple tea (juice) Such little Ladies these little girls are. I think we may have one for the ladies around christmas time.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This was an awesome day!!!! we went to Tampa bay and got to see the the Buccaneers First night Practice. Check out what they had to say!

Also since we were one of the first 500 in the gate we got 3 free tickets for the game when they play HOUSTON. Can't wait. It was nice we did a little tailgating and got to tour the Pirate Ship. The ship is cool the cannons fire off and where we sat it was loud but we were right next to the field and kiddo got alot of waving such in with the cheerleaders. It was great but Kiddo got bored so we came home. Lets just say I was ready to go as it was so hot.

LOL okies so I am rambling now its late and we are going to Myakka River State Park. They have a canopy walkway and a few other things. We're not very happy about the park (lol) since we had planned and told kiddo that we were going to go to a bird watching trail where they loan out what you need ( bird guide and binoculars) and you have an hour class but after rechecking the time for the 10th time its only held from Thanksgiving to Easter. But the cool side is we may see a gator! ( odd I know but I really want to see one in the wild)

Will post pictures that I hope turned out since I won a camera and am trying it out its as Kodak easyshare one and its small (not like my good one that I tote everywhere and weighs a ton) but I hope I got some good one if not there is alway the next game lol or hike.

uggg dogs and lithia springs

WELL lets just say I am tired of vet bills... we a different vet who is now saying the dog could still be having an allergic reation to the fleas or it could be something in her enviroment causeing it. so for 2 week more I have to give her a tappering dose of pills and bath her in medicated shampoo that I have to leave on for 10 min before rinsing off. Darn critter that will be around 300 bucks already this month. lucky we dont have to go back unless she doesn't heal.

now alot of you were wanting to know what Lithia Springs is. Well its a natural underground spring. The water varies between 68 and 78 degrees, generally remaing these constant temperatures year round (cool in the summer and warm in the winter, you gotta love it!). The water at Lithia Springs is a constant 72 degrees. I heard there are sharks up further on the river but I will have to save that one to take a walk with hubby if I can ever get him to go with us. the pictures dont do it justice.

Well I have been slow getting this done since its rush rush for everything. So my friends told me to blog so it will have to be our trip lol. Was a wreak about finding our way through the airport! Kiddo had a blast on the plane she is a great flier and when I get her camera done I will post her pictures that she took at the airports and on the plane. I forgot to metion to Kiddo that the wings of the plane move and she thought we were going to crash lol but other then that I made her wish come true to be as high as the clouds. Okies so after trying to navigate in the Denver airport and not getting any help I make it to my sisters house. Only to be up and out of the house at 4am on on the trip to Montana. It was a long car ride but fun. We had got kiddo excited about going in to see the rodeo parade the they were moving cows down that road and kiddo asked mom is that what you call a cow parade? It was just to cute so I took pictures for her. We got to see the slack time for the rodeo and such before we went on another crazy trip trying to get the dinosaur trail done as we went to visit my grandparents in ND. While in ND we got to go to the zoo there it was nice. Then on the way home we did more of the dino trail. When we got home we went fishing over the 4th of July and other then the nasty hordes of mosquitos it was nice. Got a wonderful sunburn. My brother and kids made me a cake that said happy mocha birthday and was shaped like a coffee cup and then while we were all there we celebrated dads and moms as well so the kids could be there for it. I hope they enjoyed it. Then we headed for the springs a hard time cause I hate leaving. Only to get there and my hubby was there tdy its odd to see each other when he is tdy. We tried to get the flight changed so we could come home together but the airline wanted 500 bucks to change our tickets to 3 hr later grrrr so we came home and about 4 hrs later hubby was home. SO all in all great trip way way way to short.

tonight we went out to Carabas for our anniversary and we were waiting at a light when a cattle egret used the crosswalk and caught a lizard ate it whole and then went down the sidewalk.

I had been signed up to Bust a meal but alot of the recipes there my family would not eat but I did find a Easy Skillet Cordon Bleu and we tried it. It was ok but if we do it a next time theres a few things I will change... I thoughts are written into the recipe

Easy Skillet Cordon Bleu
Active: 20min Marinate/Stand: 0min Serves: 6
Ingredients
1/2 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
8 chicken tenders (about 1 lb.) (better with raw chicken not the pre grilled ones)
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
8 Canadian bacon slices, cut into thin strips ( I diced mine up)
4 Swiss cheese slices, halved
Preparation
Prepare Ingredients
1. Cut 8 slices Canadian bacon into thin strips.
2. Cut 4 Swiss cheese slices in half.
Combine and Cook
1. Combine 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, 1 teaspoon pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a large zip-top
plastic freezer bag.
2. Rinse chicken tenders, and add to freezer bag.
3. Seal bag, and shake to coat.
4. Melt 1 tablespoon butter with 1 tablespoon oil in an ovenproof skillet over medium heat.
5. Cook chicken 3 1/2 to 4 minutes on each side or until done.
6. Arrange Canadian bacon strips over chicken in skillet, and top each with 1 cheese slice.
7. Broil 5 1/2 inches from heat 2 minutes or until cheese is melted. ( mine just melted on the stove top and everyone loved it)

The zoo it was hot but fun we never get to see all of it in one day just gets to be to long and hot. Cool thing this time we caught and animal skit/show with birds, pet stingrays, and a demo with the tigers. Kiddo was about 2 foot away from them it was cool (there was a wire mesh thing and zookeeper in front). There is a picture of the new critter kiddo wants to get Ana to ride. Silly birds that had nests above the alligator ponds.

hey all I decided to mix up our normal meals and toss in a new dish once a week. Since we are just starting I thought I would blog about it. Yesterday I made lemon chicken it was a hit with hubby and I but kiddo was like eww gross and its spicy and it smells funny ( lol we made her eat it anyways. So here is the recipe. It was fast and easy. We had rice with it but I bet noodles would work as well. If anyone tries it le me know what you all think.

Lemon Chicken
Prep Time: 10 min Cook Time: 15 min Level: Easy Serves: 4 servings

Ingredients

1 ½ pounds chicken breast or chicken tenders, cut into chunks
¼ cup all-purpose unbleached flour
Coarse salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil,
1 tablespoon (a splash) white or rice wine vinegar
½ cup chicken broth or stock
8 ounces (1 cup) prepared lemon curd
¼ cup hot water
1 lemon, zested
2 scallions, thinly sliced or 20 blades fresh chives, finely chopped
Directions
Coat the chunked chicken lightly in flour, seasoned with a little salt. Heat a large skillet or a wok-shaped nonstick pan over high heat. Stir fry chicken until golden, 3 or 4 minutes. Remove chicken from the pan and return pan to heat. Reduce heat to medium.
Add a splash of vinegar to the pan and let it evaporate. Add stock or broth to the pan and scrape up any drippings with a whisk. Thin curd by stirring in a little hot water. Add curd to broth and whisk to combine. Add chicken back to the pan and simmer for 1 to 2 minutes to thicken sauce and finish cooking chicken pieces through. Remove the pan from heat, add the scallions or chives and zest, and toss chicken pieces well to combine zest and scallions or chives evenly throughout the sauce. Serve with Special Rice, recipe follows.
Lemon curd is a sweet lemon spread available in most markets. It is on the jam/jelly aisle.

What a month and its not even close to over yet

Well sorry for not keeping things updated but to say april I am looking around and saying where did it go. We have been so busy. Weekends are history since we have things that seem to pop up. To recap what I can remember. The 3rd was Kiddo's party at school and the last of the book fair (we got $826 of free books for the school) Her party was messed up due to the rain and alot of parents were told to show up at 9 am and some of the classes had already did everything. Gymastics was great kiddo was up on a higher beam this time (scared mommy)and got to work a little on bars. I think if she sticks with it she would be great at the beam. she just doesnt like hanging underneth it. Last week was spring break and kiddo had the whole week off. Tuesday we both had dr appointments Kiddo needed to get it done before the 23 and we register her for kindergarten. She is healthy and happy that she didnt need shots. My visit was good as well the long part of the day was her visit was at 7am and mine at 9am so we got to have breakfast and I got in earlier but waiting on med ate that time up. Also that day we tags and new plates for the car (hassle) and we had to run up to the base to get some stuff so it was in general a long day. We dyed eggs 2 batches as one you could only do while it was still warm. Baked banana bread and cookies. This last weekend we went to the Manatee viewing center since it was closing due to the water getting to warm so next fall it will open again. But we saw one manatee 2 sharks one was about a big as kiddo was and came up and out of the water and the other one was smaller and we see lots of fish.Other then that we go and do trivia at the wings place and we have been doing good we have 19th in nation the sunday before last and 15 this last sunday so its cool. That about all I know that is going on.

What a week...I mean month

Well lets just say where did this month go? I mean we have been so busy that it has flown by. Okies now on to the last Friday. My friend Laura and her 3 kids plus Kiddo and I all met hubby up at base friday afternoon to watch the thunderbirds practice. It was alot of fun just wish it wasn't so windy. Man do I love the sound of jets with afterburner going. Then Saturday kiddo had her first gymnatics class and loved it there are about 5 counting her and her teacher she knew from the birthday that she attended. Now we just have to work on heights with here she not sure of them. She would not jump in the pit even though she did at the party but a girl jumped with her and then she took off. Sunday we went to lunch and did trivia and then food shopping and after all that we went to the 3d movie of monsters vs alien or what ever it was called. Then came Monday I was put to work at kiddos school book fair for a hour in the morning when I droped her off and then for a hour when I picked her up. I think the owner of the school could be just a tad more organized. there were books that still had to be marked and labeled. But that is a long story and I dont have the engery or time to get into it. We went to CiCi's pizza place with the girls (Laura and her daughter and kiddo and I)as a treat. Then Tuesday Laura and I got to get coffee before we went to a thing for her son at his school and then tile shopping for her shower. The man at lowe's was not a very good sales person even though it was his department. Then back to Kiddo's school to work the bookfair. Then had to go get taxes started. Today was a day to stay home but was tired and felt icky all day (I think my allergies are acting up).
Then the rest of the week looks like book fair again Morning and noon and then I have to get kiddos books. Friday is Kiddos easter party at school and they are hiding eggs and the kids have to find them and such and its the last day of the book fair yippee. I am also being kidnapped to a parylite thingy with laura so it will be nice to get away with no kid no hubby and out of the house for a few hrs. Then saturday its up early to get kiddo to gymanics by 9 and then we are going to lunch and to a petstore to get her hermit crab a couple of friends. Then I am going to be lost the next week as it spring break here and there is no school, no gymntics, but we do have dr apts to start getting kiddo registered for kindergarten uggg boy time flies. Well things have been busy here, with school, tdys, trying to get everything ready to pre register for Kindergarten, things in general you name it it has happened. So lets start off with Kiddo got a new pet. (Click on the picture to see a bigger one)

Her crab has been more active now that we made a new habitat for him (yes it is a him) He has changed shells 6 or more times.

We have been waiting and hoping for clear skies tonight as the Discovery Shuttle should launch and we have been told we can see it from here so Kiddo gets to stay up a tad later as it is educational. Hopefully one day before we leave we can go closer and see it from the cape I think that would be cool. So if it does Launch tonight I will post the video I get of it

This friday I watched a friend's daughter as she was on a fieldtrip with her son. So I picked them both up at school and went to a picinic at the park. Then it was so hot we came home and boy you could tell it was friday the 13th because they were wild.

Then the end of this month is a book fair and I was asked if I could help so I will be busy for a week in the morning helping people find some books

We attended a party for one of the kids in Kiddo's class it was a gymnastic party. Lets just say after a hour of running jumping tumbling and the pit these little girls were ready to curl up and go to sleep. Kiddo had lots of fun and we are going to look into seeing if we can get her in one for the weekend as something fun for her to do. Alright today was kiddos Valentine party at school and lets just say that having notes sent home saying the families were welcome then to getting there and have them say otherwise in not so many words is/was a pain and bummed me out for the day.. How ever it did get better because another lady there who we have became fast friends decided that we would go get coffee and check out the new bealls store. We has so much fun pointing out outfits to each other that we would never wear. Now kiddo and I are at war since I am a mean Mommy and wont let her eat all the candy she got from school. I see a nap comming up shortly if it continues. Well thats all that going on today.

Ok if last night could not have been any worse today is horrible! If I am not making any sense its cause I am running on maybe if I am lucky an hour of sleep. I was up most the night with kiddo who was sick decided that I wanted to spend some time with hubby before he had to get up and layed down by him for what I was hoping to be at least 1/2 hr of sleep only to be interruped by the stinking smoke alarms. I really think the company should have a lable on them or some easy way to change the battery if it dies or is low. Lets just say having a sick kid, lack of sleep, no coffee yet and smoke alarms that go off for over 2 hrs this morning. What ever happened to single smoke alarms that were not hard wired and chirped when the battery got low. The other thing that has really made my day was trying to figure out what I could use to reach our 10 foot ceiling so I could change the battery. ( no ladder still) you would have thought that I learned the last time but let me tell you when we get our final house either we wont have tall ceilings or the smoke alarms will be in reach when standing on a chair.

Ok about kiddo. She had a temp last night it came down but she was up most of the night with a stuffy nose that she only will wipe (or pat) she seems better today but I kept her home to rest and take an easy so I can be sure that its not the nasty stomach bug going around.

That is all that is going on here. Thank goodness I think my coffee is ready... now if it would only warm up some!!

Frigid Feb!

BEV send my Florida weather back!!!! It is chilly and has rained the past 2 day. Kiddo says that the weather must not like us here.

Well whats going on here... Not much

Hubby has a class this week and I think he goes tdy for a week or 2 but who knows when or where till the last minute.

Kiddo is Excited about Valentine's day so we are working on those. She had Pajama day at school last Friday since they were learning about the letter P. ]

I have been trying to get the house found I really need more space more Kitchen space. Our garage and spare room are still full of boxes. We need to get some bookshelves for Kiddo's room. I have pictures and a video I really need to get downloaded and on here of the Manatees from a few weeks again and stuff I am hoping to get hubby to go to the zoo this weekend not sure if we will or not but there is always hope. I have Joined the dreaded facebook not sure If I like it or not yet.

Other then that I am waiting for a friend (yeah I talking about you :P) to finish her lessons so we can start a PSP scrapbook class/ lesson together so that will take some time and having to remember all the tips and tricks. I have Joined the dreaded facebook not sure If I like it or not yet.

last little thought is that I wont be changing my layout anytime soon I think I found one I can live with for a while.

That's all that is happening unless you count our World of Warcraft life but that is not to exciting either

Alright I am complaining.... What is up with this last week and this week of weather. I am told that this is not normal but waking up in a house that is 50 degrees and then having to walk in 20-30 degree weather in Floria takes the cake. I have been telling hubby that there has to be a heat of some sort in this house and he tells me no its Florida. I am praying that the weather people are right and that it will be back up to 70s by saturday. Today it was 22 out when I took kiddo to school there was frost on the ground and people having to scrap it off the car. One idiot (yes I said it) took a garden hose to thier suv and since it was cold it froze the door shut. I looked at the temp a few minutes ago and its up to 34 hoping it gets a tad warmer before I go get kiddo. I all can say is thank goodness I didn't get rid of all my winter cloths. Ok I think I vented enough

we go to go to our first NHL Hockey Game!!!! and the Tampa Bay Lightning won 4-1 against the Philly flyers!!!! I thought for sure it was going to be a lame game since only the flyers had score in the first quarter but then we came back scoring 3 in the second half practically back to back and then then once in the 4th that we missed since we left early. It was nice there were some couples there from Hubbys work and Kiddo loved it she got a cool hat and the guy gave her a free pompom that lights up. Along with all this cool things... we saw the direct TV Blimp and the geico lizard and got free cups and bobbleheads of a lightning player. So here are some pictures!!! I hope kiddo is not to tired for school tomorrow.

Well in short December was the month for the whole family to be sick. First Kiddo came home sick, I got it and had to go to urgent care then before our trip to Missouri, Hubby came down with it. Our trip was good except the drive there we maybe had 2 -3 hrs of driving with no fog. There were times that you could see the exit sign only when you were on top of it. but there were no lights visible. Christmas was great at our house and in Missouri. Sad that the closest we got to snow was frost and rain. Here are some pictures.

The next 3 pictures are taken at bass pro shop we have a hunter on our hands. She was only 2 inches or so off of the targets she was aiming for. We had to take pictures of the reindeer for Grandma and the big fish. The store has changed by the checkout counters the ceiling is painted and looks like you are under water you can see fish mounts,ducks divining and boat bottoms. Its really cool. If I can find a picture of it I will post it.

Well I was still not doing better and felt like i was getting worse so hubby (bless him) called around to see if the base or the sister clinic had an ER to go to well no and we could not get the insurance on the line so we called a urgent care center in town and they do the insurance there. Well we get there and I have 4 pages of info to fill out then I get back there and for what they did I could have stayed home other then the pill they gave me. the dr listen to my symtoms and then listened to my lungs gave me a pill and breathing treatment and then filled out scripts for 2 more meds and then I went home. Not a whole lot of places fill meds on Sunday. I just hope I do kill myself on the walk to kiddos school tomorrow it for the 4 times I have to walk it to and back is about a mile and we went shopping a walmart before the dr and I thought I was going to die just walking from the comp to the couch is hard work. Then I have kiddos party at school tuesday and thrusday we head to the inlaws for christmas and then I also have to get in with my regular dr before thursday if I can uggg I have not packed or anything I have laundry and all that to do and I feel like something the cat has drug in. So who knows when I will post again but I will catch you all Later

Well Kiddo was sick yesterday not feeling good at all but she is up and at it today still has a cough. Me on the other hand is not feeling so well it hurts when I breath in my shoulder I have a headache and have a deep cough thinking later we migh have to get to the dr if its not better catch you all later.

The Christmas Season

Well the start of the season and I am so far behind and its only going to get worse. I have yet to wrap a single gift, have not dug out my cards but I do have my tree up! I think its due to other then being chilly such as fall in places I have been that I just cant get in the mood this year. Plus with only being home for 2 weeks this month whats the point I wont be here to enjoy it. So I have a christmas station on thinking of what I want to do I have laundry, gifts to wrap and such but I find I dont want to do any of them. Its almost time to get Kiddo so I dont want to drag everything out just to put it up sortly. She is really snoopy anything I wont let her see she tries to peek or throws a fit cause I wont tell her. But anyways here are pictures of our tree its the first year for this tree it was easier then our last one and the lights are wired in so all I had to do was put it togather (4 pieces if you count the stand) and fluff it. Also some pictures of some of the yearly family decorations. Since Kiddo was born each year I pick one out and have our names and the year added since she is getting bigger she gets to help now. This year was the florida shaped one but I have to put the year on it (ekk)

Well its that time of year again to be thankful for all the things that God has graced us with althought we should be thankful everyday. Things around our house have been semi crazy if its not one thing going on its another. Lets see Kiddo is loving school. This weekend we will attend a birthday party that she got invited too. Last week was her thanksgiving day meal thing at school it was fun she got to wear a pilgrims hat and help make the fruit salad. Posted below are some pictures that is if I can get it to work. Saturday we (kiddo and I) got to do some shopping just the 2 of us for hubby for christmas along with getting a gift for the party and such. Also that weekend and Monday had to deal with kiddo being sick. But she seems to be better now. As for Thanksgiving we are planning a quiet one at home. Kiddo is going to fruit salad, we will have ham, turkey, stuffing,potatoes and such.

Well our weekend was long..Kiddo didn't want to miss the Party that we were invited to so she was up at 5:30 am and ready for the party that was not until 2 pm so we went to walmart did some shopping had breakfast there and then drove to Apollo Beach and seen some wild Manatees it was cool but they are shy and hard to get pictures of but we seen a momma with baby and it was cool good thing too it was free!

Halloween Parade and Tricker treating

Her School was cool they had a door decorating thing, (sad cause her class got moved and their door didn't get counted. I got to meet her new teachers and there are 15 and I guess 2 new ones or so mandy says I will find out for sure on Monday. But they had a Parade with lots of parents showing up, a snack buffet, they got to tricker treat doors of the school as well. Normal we do this as a family but hubby lucked out and didnt have to help... ugg my hand is sore. Here are my pumpkins my favorite is in the middle it was the hardest to carve :P Will try to get some better ones when it gets dark out and the monkey is in bed. BTW one is a cauldron with goo or what ever in it and the other is a moon and bat incase you cant figure them out.

Oh this week is going to be busy. Kiddo school is still doing the colors so Today she had to wear purple, Tues is black, and wed is white. then Thursday is her first field trip they are going to a pumpkin patch. Then Friday is the Fall harvest/Halloween party thing. I think its cool cause they do a community service food drive along with harvest party thing. So we have to get her geared up in her costume. Then is Halloween!

Also along that this week we have to carve pumpkins. Its a good thing I looked into the car before hubby left or uggg we would have a foul smelling car can you imagine 2 pumpkins in the backseat for 2 weeks in a parked car in the heat ugggg.

All three of Kiddos Cocoons hatched so today we get to release the last one. I will get some pictures added to the site. The last one flew out and landed on her finger. She told me good thing cause caterpillars are hard to keep feed and the what the become is worth the hard food gathering.

Oh I do have some pictures to post that Kiddo and I took on our walk with Rosie a few day/weeks ago of the sun set on the pond behind our house. So here they are I have to get Kiddo hair done for school and see why the smoke alarms just beeped 2 time. ( I must be thinking to hard)

Metamorphosis

My daughter found catapillers on the walk home from school a few so we put them in a cage and feed them for 3 weeks and 3 of them made cocoons)
So I used pictures that I have taken and made this for her to remember it by because we released it last night so it can start the cycle again. We have 2 more cocoons to hatch or whatever out maybe we can catch one in the process so she can watch it. if you are wondering what it is... its a (I guess pick one) Polka Dot Wasp Moth, Polka-dot Wasp Moth, Oleander Moth, or Uncle Sam Moth. Odd one moth so many name.

Well we made it to the pool had a great time. We got the weekend shopping done even thought we didnt make it to walmart but we will do that next week before hubby goes tdy again. Unpacked more boxes and slowly are getting the empty one cut up and out of the house. (hate the recycling place) we have to cut them all down to fit in the tiny bins we have so this in the 5th time I have filled them all to get them out and the big boxes filled with paper from unpacking. I finally got the deep freeze up an going now so I have more freezer space for cool things like cookies and such.

Well for those who know I have finished my paint shop pro lessons and now I will be trying one to learn how to make scrapbook things and who knows I may try to see if I am any good to make and sell them online for fun money but we will see.

Well not much going on here this week. Hubby was off Monday, but Kiddo had school. Got the pictures from school Monday. Took the dog to the vet and think we go screwed. Lets just say she has an ear infection but its odd that 3 other people had the same thing when we went in for just a vaccination. Have to go back in 2 weeks after do medicating going to find a new vet that all I can say. Do not ever take your pet to Banfield the one in petsmart! Did school walk with kiddo and then did park time and took a few walks around supper time. Tonight we took pictures of the sun setting across the pond that is behind our house across the road. Kiddo has been wanting and begging to ride in her wagon so that is I do kid in wagon and try to keep the from getting ran over by the wagon. Kiddo is off of school tomorrow so we are thinking of going swimming or such but hubby is pissy about it cause that when the guys from colo play online cause they are never on when he is on any more due to time change, So it may just be Kiddo and I. Yes I am venting I have that right... I don't get a break. Other then that hubby is going back to Germany at the end of the month for 2 weeks or so. Hoping the weather will get cooler temp is 83 but with humidity it feels like 94 we are all still in shorts. Well I guess that is for now... I still have lots to do to get ready for Christmas such as actually start shopping uggg I am so far behind this year due to the move and still can't find anything.
