Pumpkin Carving time

Normal we do this as a family but hubby lucked out and didnt have to help... ugg my hand is sore. Here are my pumpkins my favorite is in the middle it was the hardest to carve :P Will try to get some better ones when it gets dark out and the monkey is in bed. BTW one is a cauldron with goo or what ever in it and the other is a moon and bat incase you cant figure them out.

2 weeks

Well Hubby left yesterday for 2 weeks in Germany. He is going to be so mad he forgot his Shaving kit here. Going to have to make a list for him for next time. If you would like to see where my lucky hubby gets to stay and sites to see in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany Click here

Oh this week is going to be busy. Kiddo school is still doing the colors so Today she had to wear purple, Tues is black, and wed is white. then Thursday is her first field trip they are going to a pumpkin patch. Then Friday is the Fall harvest/Halloween party thing. I think its cool cause they do a community service food drive along with harvest party thing. So we have to get her geared up in her costume. Then is Halloween!

Also along that this week we have to carve pumpkins. Its a good thing I looked into the car before hubby left or uggg we would have a foul smelling car can you imagine 2 pumpkins in the backseat for 2 weeks in a parked car in the heat ugggg.

All three of Kiddos Cocoons hatched so today we get to release the last one. I will get some pictures added to the site. The last one flew out and landed on her finger. She told me good thing cause caterpillars are hard to keep feed and the what the become is worth the hard food gathering.

Oh I do have some pictures to post that Kiddo and I took on our walk with Rosie a few day/weeks ago of the sun set on the pond behind our house. So here they are I have to get Kiddo hair done for school and see why the smoke alarms just beeped 2 time. ( I must be thinking to hard)

Metamorphosis

My daughter found catapillers on the walk home from school a few so we put them in a cage and feed them for 3 weeks and 3 of them made cocoons)
So I used pictures that I have taken and made this for her to remember it by because we released it last night so it can start the cycle again. We have 2 more cocoons to hatch or whatever out maybe we can catch one in the process so she can watch it. if you are wondering what it is... its a (I guess pick one) Polka Dot Wasp Moth, Polka-dot Wasp Moth, Oleander Moth, or Uncle Sam Moth. Odd one moth so many name.

When see through a childs eyes things are more exciting!

Pool

Well we made it to the pool had a great time. We got the weekend shopping done even thought we didnt make it to walmart but we will do that next week before hubby goes tdy again. Unpacked more boxes and slowly are getting the empty one cut up and out of the house. (hate the recycling place) we have to cut them all down to fit in the tiny bins we have so this in the 5th time I have filled them all to get them out and the big boxes filled with paper from unpacking. I finally got the deep freeze up an going now so I have more freezer space for cool things like cookies and such.

Well for those who know I have finished my paint shop pro lessons and now I will be trying one to learn how to make scrapbook things and who knows I may try to see if I am any good to make and sell them online for fun money but we will see.

This week in our house...

Well not much going on here this week. Hubby was off Monday, but Kiddo had school. Got the pictures from school Monday. Took the dog to the vet and think we go screwed. Lets just say she has an ear infection but its odd that 3 other people had the same thing when we went in for just a vaccination. Have to go back in 2 weeks after do medicating going to find a new vet that all I can say. Do not ever take your pet to Banfield the one in petsmart! Did school walk with kiddo and then did park time and took a few walks around supper time. Tonight we took pictures of the sun setting across the pond that is behind our house across the road. Kiddo has been wanting and begging to ride in her wagon so that is I do kid in wagon and try to keep the from getting ran over by the wagon. Kiddo is off of school tomorrow so we are thinking of going swimming or such but hubby is pissy about it cause that when the guys from colo play online cause they are never on when he is on any more due to time change, So it may just be Kiddo and I. Yes I am venting I have that right... I don't get a break. Other then that hubby is going back to Germany at the end of the month for 2 weeks or so. Hoping the weather will get cooler temp is 83 but with humidity it feels like 94 we are all still in shorts. Well I guess that is for now... I still have lots to do to get ready for Christmas such as actually start shopping uggg I am so far behind this year due to the move and still can't find anything.

Kiddos bumps

It seems like at least once a week Kiddo comes home with an ice bag from PreK. Well the week before last, she fell of the jungle gym and got a odd shaped black and blue and I just wanted to share it. It was heart shaped.

Ice Cream social and other things

Well not really what I expected or thought it would be but I am interested in finding more out about the PBS thing they are starting at the school...No not the show on tv its about behavior and such I think is Positive Behavior Support thing. But tonight Kiddo was clingy she not one for loud and alot of people, even though all the teachers say she very outgoing and she would not talk to any of them.

Kiddo has show and tell time for the Letter B and she is taking in her stuffed Beaver and I printed out a fact sheet about beavers since they are not native down here and I doubt many know what they are.

We also caught some catipillers that will turn into a spotted wasp moth if they live. We are not having much luck on that end since our puffers died it was one of 2 things kiddo over feeding them ( she would feed them without asking me) or the way they were handled when we got them.

There are also pictures of the wedgits kiddo got for her birthday she loves thems and kiddo who uses a ton of detangler in her hair to brush it before bed.
